BIOGRAPHY

1978: Born in Alessandria, northern Italy.
1994-1996: Private artistic studies.
1997-2006: Studied at Politecnico di Milano.
2006 winter solstice: dec 21th 2006 - Graduated in Design.
He started to draw very young and in the earlie 90's as a kid he wrote the first tags on the walls of his hometown. After years spent to paint only letters, at the end of the millenium, influenced by writers as Stak and a lot of non-graffiti art he has moved from working in traditional graffiti art to painting large and mysterious figures that invade public spaces. He was one of the first writers to use numbers instead of letters for his name and his firsts works known by people, of the experimental period, are enigmatic “blob”-like yellow shapes and it’s his strong intention to make visual chaos. From Alessandria his shapes appear in Milano, Ginevra, Parigi, Berlino, Londra, New york, San Francisco, Reykjavik, Roma, Zaragoza, Amsterdam... His new works are labyrinths, dead trees, dark experimental music, videos, 3D objects and installations but especially black and gloomy shapes. In 2004 he was invited to Nusign 2.4 in Paris the first international exhibition about European Post Graffiti, in Zaragoza for Segundo end Tercer Asalto and in 2007 in Venezia Arsenale for the exhibition called Walls during the Biennale 2007. During March 2008 he was invited to join Nomadaz in Los Angeles with Eltono, Dem, Microbo and other artists to represent Europe in the U.S.A.

108 (nato Guido Bisagni - Alessandria – 1978) inizia a disegnare giovanissimo e nei primi anni novanta si avvicina ai graffiti più classici studiando poi la lettera in modo personale. Affascinato dalle avanguardie di inizio '900 a dalla comunicazione visiva decide di iscriversi a Disegn al Politecnico di Milano. A partire dal 1999 in seguito ad esperienze di natura trascendentale iniziare una nuova ricerca. Influenzato dall'antico sciamanesimo locale, dai graffiti dell’europa neolitica e dal lavoro di graffitisti europei contemporanei quali Stak, inizia a sperimentare: decide di allontanarsi da ogni figurazione a partire dal nome, utilizzando solo tre cifre colme di significati occulti: i suoi primi lavori conosciuti sono enigmatiche forme gialle, ottenute ritagliando rozzamente pellicole viniliche in forme organiche ma astratte che emergono dal subconscio e che appaiono per le strade di tutto il mondo. Milano, Venzia, Berlino, New York, Londra, Parigi, San Francisco, Oslo. Questo carattere solitario si discosta da quello degli altri graffitisti diventando sempre più oscuro e incomprensibile con la pittura di grandi e misteriose figure nere e piccole sculture che invadono gli spazi pubblici, installazioni e composizioni sonore. Nel 2004 è stato invitato a Parigi per Nusign, la prima grande mostra sul post-graffitismo europeo, nel 2007 all'Arsenale di Venezia per Walls curata dalla Bevilacqua La Masa, durante la 52.Biennale e nel 2008 allo Scion Space di Los Angeles per Nomadaz, mostra dedicata al graffitismo europeo. Negli ultimi due anni ha partecipato al Fame festival di Grottaglie, conosciuto come uno dei più grandi festival d'arte urbana del mondo. Nel corso degli anni in oltre ha esposto in spazi quali la Triennale di Milano, il Centro de Historia di Saragozza, Bricklane Gallery di Londra, BWA di Wroclaw e molyi altri importanti spazi. Per quanto riguarda le arti applicate ha collaborato con vari marchi di abbigliamento, illustrato alcuni volumi (Link mono 2010) editi in Italia e all'estero. Negli ultimi anni ha collaborato con vari artisti nell'ambito del video e del teatro. Per Tamara Gvozdenovic ha realizzato le colonne sonore per gli spettacoli di Londra (2007) and Neuchatel (2011).
